Owode market under Offa local government is the second largest market in kwara state.

A section of the market got burnt on 15th/16th of may 2015. looking at the course of the sudden fire breakout,everybody believed that it is caused by high current power supply which spake some wire and leads to destruction of several millions,which is true.

But recently,the market woman says a small girl shouted round the market that there will be fire breakout and the remedy is prayer that one of the market woman use a new born child for ritual and God is angry and ready to deal with all the market woman that are involved in any ungodly act.
