The chairman of PDP in Ishielu LGA of Ebonyi state wasshort dead this morning

 The Chairman of PDP in Ishielu LGA in Ebonyi state, Mr. Emeka Nworie has been shot dead by unknown gunmen at his home in Ezzagu in Ishelu LGA. According to a report by Vanguard, Nworie was killed this morning April 11th. Another man Mike Ojor in Ikwo Nnoyo in Ikwo local government area of the state was also assassinated this morning
Confirming the incident,ASP Chris Anyanwu said the gunmen had asked for money from the PDP chairman which he gave to them before he was shot dead.

A female student was strangled to death in AAU

 fear gripped the Students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma following the dead body of female student found close to the school gate.An Impeccable Source disclosed to liveschoolews.com.ng that the female student was strangled to death and dumped at the junction of ONE-T-4, close to the school gate of AAU on Monday.There were speculations that the female student was killed by cultists in the town.However, students have called for government’s intervention through the provision of security in the community to stop or reduce the illegal activities in the school environment. Investigation was ongoing by the police to ascertain the main reasons for her death.
