APC openly condemns the transfer of Fr Mbaka's by the Catholic Church

 The All Progressives Congress has reacted to the transfer of the founder of the Adoration Ministries, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, to a new parish.
This comes as Father Mbaka, who has been the parish-priest of the Christ the King Parish, G.R.A, in Enugu metropolis for over 20 years, was transferred to Our Lady Parish, in Emene, a suburb in Enugu where serve as an assistant parish priest.
The APC South-East Caucus spokesman, Osita Okechukwu in a statement released on Sunday, January 31 condemned the Catholic Church ,saying it is wrong to punish a priest for declaring prophecies that have proven to be from God.

Nigeria Shi’a group releases 705 missing members names which link to the Dec clash with Nigeria Army

The Nigeria Shi'a group has released a list of its members that have gone missing since the December 12th clash they hard with the Nigerian Army.

The Islamic group had a fatal face-off with the Nigerian Army after some members of the group allegedly barricaded a road in Kaduna, preventing the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, from passing through the road. Over 300 people were reportedly killed.

Here is a provincial list of 705 names and towns of origin of the missing members of the group, shared on the group's Facebook page yesterday January 25th.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arraigned the duo of Shehu Mustapha, Registrar Litigation, Adamawa State High Court and Barrister Binanu R. Esthon, former Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, Yola Chapter before Justice B.B Aliyu of the Federal High Court sitting in Yola, Adamawa State on a 4-count charge bordering on conspiracy and criminal diversion of funds to the tune of N60million (sixty million naira).

APC calling for coup,Fayose not recruiting any thugs – Aide

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has described the allegation of treasonable comments made against him by the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as not only ridiculous but coming from an unsound mind.
Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Idowu Asdelusi, described as shameless lie, claim by the State Chapter of the APC that the governor was arming ten thugs per local government in the State, saying:

“APC is obviously calling for a coup-de-tat against a governor democratically elected, whose tenure is fixed and mode of possible removal from office is stipulated in the Constitution of Nigeria.”

He‎ said the tone of the press release by the APC really showed the poor state of mind of those running the affairs of party.

EFCC seizes Dasuki’s, General’s houses in Kaduna(Photos)

Property believed to belong to embattled former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki was at the weekend confiscated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Kaduna.

It was learnt that the property of others linked with the $2.1billion scandal were also confiscated by the anti-graft agency in Kaduna.
Among them is a former Theatre Commander of the Operation Lafia Dole in Maiduguri, Major General Yishau Mahmood Abubakar.
It was learnt that occupants of some of the buildings were expelled by EFCC operatives who took over the property, which they marked with red ink.

Dead bodies discovered in foundation of Enugu church building (photos)

There is outrage in Enugu State following the discovery, Monday evening, shocking images of dead bodies buried in shallow graves along the Enugu Port-Harcourt Express Road.The incident, which occurred at the Ugwuaji Area of the State has kept residents in tears.

DAILY POST gathered that human parts and fresh dead bodies were discovered at an uncompleted building, inside a bush along the Express Way.A source hinted that curious villagers raised the alarm, which prompted security agencies to invade the location.In the meantime, villagers are pointing accusing fingers on a new church located close to the scene.
