Man roasted to death on Third Mainland bridge

Tragedy struck Tuesday, on Third Mainland bridge, Lagos, when an unidentified motorcyclist fell off his bike and was roasted to death.


The incident was said to have occurred at the UNILAG area of the bridge around 6am and this resulted in a traffic jam which lasted for hours.

According to vanguard eye witnesses’ account, the unidentified rider who a lone occupant, was riding from the Iyana- Oworo end was on a fast speed but was flagged down by some law enforcement agents who warned him to maintain a normal speed but he was defiant but on getting to the UNILAG area, the motorcycle slipped and fire erupted which engulfed the rider before help could come.
