Suli Breaks is a 25 year old British-Ghananian spoken word artist from wood green,North London. in 2009 he graduated with a degree in law from the university of Sheffield.these are his words on friendship: if you truly want to know yourself, look at your five closest friend cos you are the reflection of the people you spend most of your time with.
whether you like it or not,like them or not, friends can do two things. either push you forward or pull you backward.

think about it,when you got your result,who are the first people you ask? so how did you do it,English maths and art and
we always assumed our grades are OK as long as we go haste than our mate.
you see,that is why i said is important to have friends with benefit because if they don't add to your life they subtract from it

and if they don't do nothing at all,that is just bad because breaking even is in an exact profit.
as humans,we look at our surrounding and learn to adapt to it.so if you surround yourself with bombs,what did you expect to be the outcome of it,
you end up following shit because life is too short to live for other people ideas and that is the hash reality.
whenever i use the word friend, i add quote so wait, am i implying contrary to popular believe that you should only be friends with people that can help you? Yes i am!
people that respect your identity and the decision you choose to make indefinitely,people that can help you grow because true friends because true friends are people that can benefit you emotionally,spiritually and mentally and regularly.

not a friend that push you down  9 of 10 times whenever you are in the crowd but then become your true body when nobody is around.
that is not a true friend. at the same time remember that one hand washes other before they can both wash the face.

before you can expect good friends,you have to learn to be one yourself. and that involves having the modes you stand by and stick to it because a man that stand for nothing will fall for everything.
so there is nothing wrong with having friends with benefit so ultimately look for a way you can benefit each other. peace.
