Barclays boss is sacked in row over strategy

Barcleys sacks boss Antony jenkins in row over strategy.
Anthony jenkins took over at barclays in the summer of 2012 following the departure of Bob Diamond who left in the wake of the Libor scandal.


He was sack because of the low cost cut and profitability of the banks according to the chairman statement.

Chairman John Mcfarlane said the bank need to be more efficient. "What we need is profit improvement, barclay is not efficient. We are cumbersome".

He made this statement after the board meeting over the banks cost cutting and profitabilty.
